St. John’s Church ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

On Sunday, September 20, 2020.

The meeting begins after church service at 12.30.

This year the congregation must vote in 5 new board members

 For those of you who cannot attend please use your proxy.

 

INVITATION TO JOIN ST. JOHN’S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM MEETING ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2020 AT 12:30 PM

This year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic situation, St. John’s AGM will be held both “in-person” in the church hall, closely following the COVID-19, Stage 3 restrictions of physical distancing and gathering limits (50), and, for the first time, by virtual teleconferencing via ZOOM MEETING.

All voting members of the congregation are being provided with the opportunity to join the AGM via ZOOM. Instructions for connecting to the ZOOM meeting are provided below.

Please register in advance by contacting the church office by phone or email at 416-921-3327 or baznica@bellnet.ca with the following information: name and address, participation “in-person” or by ZOOM, and the name of any proxy you may have.

The AGM will begin at 12:30 pm following the worship service.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING TO VIRTUAL ZOOM MEEING

  1. From laptop –

    1. In internet browser, enter zoom.us

    2. Between 12:00 and 12:30 pm, at top of screen, click on “JOIN A MEETING”

    3. Where asked, enter Meeting ID, 942 1465 6227, and click on “JOIN MEETING”, then wait and at 12:30 pm the meeting will begin.

  2. From mobile smart phone –

    1. Download the ZOOM App for Android or IPhone from Google Playstore or Apple Store.

    2. Open the ZOOM App. Where asked, enter Meeting ID, 942 1465 6627, and click on “JOIN MEETING”, then wait and at 12:30 pm the meeting will begin.

  3. If you don’t have a laptop or mobile smart phone –

    1. Dial 1-647-374-4685 on your regular landline between 12:00 and 12:30pm.

    2. When asked for ID number, dial 942 1465 6627 #.

    3. When asked about Host or Participant, press #.

    4. Then wait and at 12:30 pm the meeting will begin.

This is our first attempt at running a ZOOM teleconferencing meeting. There may some glitches, so we kindly ask that you bear with us. If you have any problems, please call 647-505-1882, and we will try to resolve them. Thanks for your patience.

 

The Annual Cemetery Service will be in the form of a virtual service on

York Cemetery will be open from 8:00 AM  on September 13 and entrance willbe restricted to 100 people.
