SAULAINES 19th annual FALL FESTIVAL !


Sunday, September 15th, at Saulaine, St. Johns Ev. Luth. Latvian Churchs rural property!

Saulaine just celebrated 67 magnificent years of camp !


10:30 am: Coffee and pastries before church

11:00 am: Church service by the bubbling brook, officiated by rev. Girts Grietins

12:00 noon: Art show opening in the Sun Barn; featured artists: Beate Augustane (watercolors/drawings), Pavils Hawkins (photographs), Leah Houston (textiles/graphic design),  Inara Matiss (acrylics), Ruta Sils Wilson (metal sculptures), Anna Ziemele (drawings/paintings) 

1:00 pm: Gourmet lunch by ERIC ZACS and helpers; Adults: $30, students and youth: $15; kids 5-8 yo: $5, kids under 5 yo: free! 

2:30 pm: Fall Harvest lucky draw

4:00 pm: Art show closing


The Bookstore at Saulaine is open all weekend ( and all year, 24/7)! Let us know if you are looking for something special!


A reminder: Fall Workbee in memory of VILNIS EZERS, Saturday, OCT 26th at Saulaine. Morning breakfast, mounds of Philipino Spring rolls (Lusis family), hot lunch at 2:00 pm (Eric Zacs and Peter Mashin), free volunteer raffle of great prizes, volunteer credits for high school students- lots of fun! NORBERTS SEBRIS to lead sharing of memories about VILNIS and his contributions to Saulaine
